Independent Living

Independent living is ideal for active older adults looking to maintain their freedom and enjoy various amenities with minimal assistance. These communities allow residents to control their lifestyles and daily activities.

Independent living is best for older adults who are physically and mentally healthy and capable of living independently without significant care. It allows them to maintain their freedom and activity levels while accessing community support when needed.

Independent living may be a good fit if you can relate to any of the following:

  1. You want to delegate the household chores and maintenance responsibilities to someone else.
  2. You’re seeking a more vibrant social life with engaging individuals.
  3. You’re interested in participating in various activities, clubs, and events that pique your interest.

Independent living communities allow older adults to utilize various amenities like restaurants, libraries, and recreational activities. Additional services, including transportation, housekeeping, or light personal care, may also be available upon request, depending on the community.

Assisted Living

In assisted living, residents can access the same benefits as independent living, with the added assurance of staff support. Sundale offers assisted living in Huntsville, Texas, with customized care plans to suit residents’ needs. Our staff is always ready to adjust when needed.

Other benefits include the following:

  • 24-hour onsite staff
  • Medication management
  • Nutritious, chef-inspired meals and snacks
  • Light housekeeping and laundry services
  • Transportation services to medical appointments/shopping trips
  • Personalized care assistance (such as bathing/grooming/dressing)

These communities offer residents a safe and comfortable environment, allowing them to live independently while receiving individualized assistance when necessary. With its many amenities and focus on independence, assisted living communities like Sundale offer older adults an opportunity to enjoy life in retirement.

Assisted living may be a good fit if you can relate to the following:

  1. You desire support with daily activities but don’t need 24/7 skilled nursing care.
  2. You could benefit from greater personalized attention than what you receive at home.
  3. You maintain an active lifestyle and wish to engage with fellow older adults in the same stage of life as you.

Memory Care

Memory care communities cater to the needs of those suffering from Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia. These communities offer personalized care to help residents retain their abilities and maintain their unique personalities through customized programs. It’s most suitable for older adults with deteriorating cognitive skills.

Skilled Nursing

Older adults needing constant medical attention or recovering from surgery, illness, or injury can benefit from skilled nursing communities. These communities offer 24/7 nursing care for a specific period or long-term basis and are suitable for those whose medical needs are too much to manage at home or elsewhere.

It’s a really great place to work at. The staff are really joyful to work with everyone works as a team and gets along great with each other. The main reason I work there is because the residents are so happy there you can tell they really enjoy the community and how well thay are looked after by the nursing staff we all go the extra mile to make them feel right at home.
